Retrowave and Synthwave are both subgenres of electronic music that draw inspiration from the sounds of the 1980s. However, Retrowave tends to focus more on the nostalgic and romanticized aspects of 80s culture, often incorporating elements of pop culture and visual aesthetics from that era. On the other hand, Synthwave is more rooted in the darker and more futuristic side of 80s music, often featuring dystopian or cyberpunk themes. While both genres heavily rely on synthesizers and electronic production, their overall vibes and influences set them apart from each other. **
